I made the trip out to Derwood, MD once again and I had a SUCH a fun time with this family! The kids were hilarious and the parents knew just what to do to get great smiles out of them! I loved that we had the grandparents and all the grandkids in a photo just cracking up. I love sessions like this!
Maybe I’m a bit biased (this is my bff) but this family rocks! I met them at Tarara Winery in Leesburg, Virginia. I had never been there before and I was blown away by how beautiful it is. We found a winding dirt road with some beautiful fall foliage and started our session. I think you can tell in the photos just how much they love each other and Emma (as usual!) was so fun to photograph. Afterwards we had a lovely glass of Cabernet, I think I should end all my sessions that way… 🙂
This is my little dog Max, he is 5 years old and I love him very much. We have the same birthday (literally). He is a typical mini- Schnauzer…fiesty, fun, stubborn, and he thinks he is ten times bigger than he is (Napoleon complex)! So I’m still dabbling in the pet portraits, as you can see…what do you think?

This little guy is one of my favourite people! Our families have known each other since he and my daughter were 4 months old and it’s so wonderful to see them both grow together from babies to little kids. We took a trip to the Farm Park in Derwood, MD and did some exploring with his Mom. He has such a cheeky face!

I am one of those people who just loved being pregnant, I think I was very lucky to have a smooth pregnancy and I’m so grateful for that. I love doing maternity sessions because it reminds me of that feeling I had when I was expecting my daughter. I had a wonderful session with this beautiful Mama To Be, I really think she is just glowing! I can’t wait to meet her little one!
